March of 2024 I visited Japan. I haven't painted anything from there yet but I have lots of pictures. I'm thinking more of watercolors for that.
We visited the National Museum in Osaka, which was having an international Monet exhibition.
We visited a ton of temples. 
We visited a Japanese Starbucks, where they have macha flavored donuts, macarons, jelly roll, and other goodies.
In July of 2024 we moved to Washington State. We chose it for the temperate climate, with an eye on the ever-warming southern US, and the high humidity, which helps me breathe.
We bought a house on the Olympic Peninsula, and

Is.
Amazingly.
Beautiful.
And amazingly wonderful.
The first year we were here there was a "heat" advisory: It was expected to reach the mid eighties in Seattle. Adorable! Most of the time in the summer it's in the 70s.
I started running on trails again, and continued to get healthier. I've lost about 25 pounds so far.
